![]() ![]() ![]() Worked like a charm with all my odd end BT devices as soon as it came up. The driver is Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth 4.0, version 10.0.3.21. I uninstalled and re-installed the Bluetooth driver, but that didnt work. Then I tried to send files from the PC to my smartphone and vice versa, but neither detected each other. Ok and close out of everything and reboot I tried to connect my Bluetooth headphones and it didnt find them. Select the "Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Bluetooth 4.0" driver Bluetooth 4.0 / HS" and right click to update driverĬhoose browse computer, Let me pick from a listīrowse to the Bluetooth installed folder (mine was c:\program files (x86)\bluetooth suite) go to Driver folder (not drivers) and click OK Install Atheros BT-8.0.1.305/314 or 318 (I used 318) using Windows 8 Compatibility mode and Run as AdministratorĪfter reboot, go to Device Manager, find "Qualcomm Atheros AR3012. Uninstall current stack of whatever version. If you have an MSI, ASUS or other laptop that uses AR3012 Bluetooth module, just upgraded to Windows 10 and you can't get it to work even using compatibility mode follow these steps, it worked for me: It may not be sysadmin'ish but it took more effort than I think the average person would care to deal with. I wasn't sure where to post this for other people to find and I really only post to Reddit. Ok, so I've been working with this BT/Windows 10 deal off and on for about 3 months. ![]()
